Monica Tillett

Monica Tillett has over 15 years of experience in providing clients with tax planning services in many areas of state and local tax, including income/franchise taxes, sales/use taxes and gross receipts taxes. She has extensive experience with large multistate clients and large client engagements in a variety of industries. Her state consulting and compliance experience includes controversy matters, state tax restructurings, apportionment methodology, state tax nexus determinations, and FAS 109 / FIN 48 reviews.

Before joining WTAS, Monica was with the Washington National Office of an international professional services firm where she concentrated on state taxation and legislative developments and firm quality assurance. She previously worked in the State & Local Tax Practice of another international professional services firm serving local and national clients.

Monica has appeared as a speaker on tax matters at professional meetings and symposiums including Tax Executives Institute, and has written for professional tax publications including The Tax Adviser magazine.
