Steve Corrick has over 35 years of experience in tax practice. He serves as the Chief Operating Officer of WTAS and also serves as the firm’s Practice Director, with responsibilities for quality assurance.

Before joining WTAS, Steve was a tax partner in an international professional services firm. During his career there, he advised many individual and business clients, headed a significant national program to provide tax-compliance and wealth-planning services to executives, and was the firmwide technical specialist in individual income tax matters. In addition, he specialized in the tax and economic aspects of equipment leasing, capital recovery, and the corporate and individual alternative minimum tax.

Steve is co-editor of the Personal Taxes section of the Journal of Taxation, and his articles have appeared in other professional tax journals, including TAXES, Tax Notes, Taxation for Accountants, and the Equipment Leasing Newsletter. He has appeared as a speaker at conferences on tax reform and other topics presented by New York University, Prentice-Hall Law and Business, and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Steve has served on the Tax Executive Committee of the American Institute of CPAs.
