Yi Shepard has over 17 years of corporate and international tax experience serving clients from startups to large multinational enterprises. She has experience with a variety of industries, including alternative investments, software, semiconductor, biotechnology and other high technology disciplines.

Yi’s experience includes domestic and international tax planning and compliance, including consolidated and multistate tax returns, cross-border transactions and intellectual property migration. She has also served as an outsource Tax Director for a multinational public company. Yi has extensive experience with accounting for uncertain tax positions (FASB ASC 740) and internal controls of tax functions. Yi’s professional experience also includes serving clients with two international professional services firms.

Yi is fluent in reading, writing and speaking Chinese.
