Tom McDonnell has over 21 years of advising clients on federal tax and corporate restructuring matters, including 14 years with two international professional services firms.

Tom has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporations, partnerships, REITs, hedge funds, federal, state, and international income taxes, FAS 109, and tax compliance. His clients have ranged from emerging businesses, to family-owned operations, to middle-market and Fortune 500 companies.

Tom’s specific areas of tax and business experience include:

• Restructuring and transactional services to corporation and partnership organizations to minimize tax, mitigate risk and accommodate change
• Structuring acquisitions and divestitures in a manner that minimizes tax and risk
• Preparing corporate, partnership and personal federal and state income tax returns
• Preparing and/or reviewing tax provision calculations for corporate financial statements

Tom has served on the State Tax Committee of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs.
