Dorice Pepin has over 27 years of experience advising clients in many areas of state and local taxation, including:

•     Income taxes
•     Franchise taxes
•     Sales/use taxes
•     Gross receipts taxes
•     Tax credits and incentives

Dorice helps companies with planning for the effects of business acquisitions, reorganizations, tax examinations and changes in state and local tax laws on multistate and multinational business operations. She has served retailing, manufacturing and financial services companies in planning for the unique implications of multistate income and sales/use tax provisions on business activities.

Before joining WTAS, Dorice was a founding member of a local tax and business consulting company and a Tax Partner at two international professional services firms, where she led the Chicago Multistate Tax Practice. She also led the firmwide Multistate Strategic Client Relationship Program at one of those firms.

As an adjunct professor in the Masters of Taxation programs at DePaul University and Northern Illinois University, Dorice teaches state and local taxation. She is also a frequent speaker to industry and professional groups on state and local tax matters.
