G. Randolph Macpherson

Managing Director

Randy Macpherson has over 20 years of experience in taxation. He serves clients and as a WTAS firmwide technical resource on tax issues with significance to ultra-high net worth families. His practice areas include advising on tax aspects of:

  • Partnerships
  • S corporations
  • Real estate
  • Advanced individual income tax matters
  • Wealth-transfer planning
  • Trusts and estates
  • Charitable giving

Before joining WTAS, Randy was a Tax Partner in an international professional services firm, responsible for the Private Client Services Practice in South Florida. Randy has advised some of the wealthiest families and largest privately held businesses in the Southeast. His broad experience enables him to effectively integrate income tax planning for privately held businesses with income tax and wealth-transfer planning for the owners.

Randy is a Personal Financial Specialist, as designated by the American Institute of CPAs. He also serves on WTAS’ Board of Directors, as Chair of the Planned Giving Councils for Norton Museum and Place of Hope, and on the Professional Advisory Board of the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties.
