Ellen Bonito has over 11 years of accounting experience. She handles engagements for high net worth families and individuals, involving income tax planning and compliance, succession and estate tax planning, carried-interest planning, and charitable planning.
Ellen has extensive experience with partnership, gift, estate, trust, foundation and individual taxation. She collaborates closely with clients’ attorneys and investment advisers to help optimize the financial and tax planning results.
Although Ellen’s client base includes entrepreneurs, owner/operators of businesses and high-level executives of public companies, her primary focus is working with tax matters that impact hedge fund, private equity and venture capital partners.
Before joining WTAS, Ellen worked in the tax and assurance practices of two international professional services firms in the San Francisco and Boston metropolitan areas. Ellen is a contributor to the treatise Tax Economics of Charitable Giving. She has also been published in the periodical Taxation of Exempts.
