WTAS invites you to join us for an invitation only event...

The Individual Trustee: Best Practices

Tuesday, June 25th
1:30pm - 6:00pm EST

WTAS is pleased to invite you to a limited-attendance event designed for the nonprofessional trustee. In light of the uncertainty in the gift and estate area, the last quarter of 2012 saw a record number of trusts created, many of which were funded with substantial assets. In the rush to complete these transactions before year-end, friends and family members may have been appointed as trustees and may not be fully aware of the responsibilities of the position. Now that the dust has settled, it is time to consider what trustees should be doing to ensure the trusts are being administered with the utmost care.

This event will focus on trustee responsibilities, beneficiary rights, trust taxation and general best practices.  We encourage you to attend if you have established a trust, serve as a trustee in a nonprofessional capacity, are the beneficiary of a trust, or help manage a family office that involves trusts in its structure.
